Welcome to the Office of Budget and Financial Planning at The Catholic University of America. The Budget Office is responsible for overall budget planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for operating and capital activities. We take pride in supporting CUA's faculty, staff, and researchers with their budgetary needs in order to ensure that available resources are directed to their most optimal use and that the strategic priorities of the university are met. We work in collaboration with staff and management in all university divisions to understand their fiscal needs, leveraging our collective knowledge of operations to make decisions between competing priorities and supporting those decisions with critical analysis and documentation. This also includes tuition pricing analysis, strategic investment, position management, assessment of operating needs, and reporting to the President’s Council and the Board of Trustees on priorities and performance.
